Finally into Spain and only 200km from our return ferry. Stopping off in San Sebastian for a couple of days…

Didn’t make it out of the campsite.. But plenty to keep the little ones busy…

Five days in Montpelier… A garden great city… Very good scaled down train (miniature transport being a must for children of Orla, Woody and Fergus’ age), a great beach and a nice pool at the hotel…

Another long drive today… For a five day stop at the Marriott in Montpellier.. A bit of time to see the city, the local beaches and relax at the hotel pool. 

A stopover for lunch at Aix En Provence…

And snacks on the balcony at the hotel before bed…

Two days in Ventimiglia before heading back into France.. Back to normality.. Sunshine and ice-creams..

A long drive into Italy with a few Sat-Nav mishaps led to us turning up at our first campsite that said they were full.. But found a place in Finale Ligure in the end. A nice campsite with a nice Italian restaurant but didn’t see much of the town other than lots of small twisty roads that the camper wasn’t really made for.

Another twisty turney drive down the mountain and the route through Italy.. To Finale Ligure and Ventimiglia..
